Monday Night Football

Poor Sunday to follow up an excellent Sunday. 1-3 and 8-1-1, respectively. Brings the overall to 19-12-1. Pretty pleased with that at this point.

Tonight I will be rolling with the Carolina Panthers. In short this is way too many points to give a pretty decent team on Monday night. Not to mention the fact that I'm not entirely sold on the Boys just yet.

Monday

I think it's fair to say we got a little unlucky last night with the Colts going 80 yards in 30 seconds for the last second cover. Indy just does not control the clock or the game well which will make it very difficult to cover the spread against good teams.

Much better weekend this time around. 4-0 for an 8-2 weekend. Posted Record is now 10-7, which I'm very happy with after such a poor start.

This Saturday was a little better, going 4-2 to get the posted record at least close to .500 at 6-7. Will be back with the picks for today before the games.

Took a couple days off as I was not picking well at all. Playing four games this weekend.

Another tough night as we missed the under by a point and a half. Gotta ride out the storm and stay the course though. We will turn this around. Looking at the games for the weekend. Hopefully will have some plays up soon.

Very sorry for the poor performance starting out. No excuses, but I will turn this around. Tonight we will be playing the Under 42.5 in the San Diego/Oakland game. Don't see Oakland scoring a lot so they will have to limit SD's offense to stay in this one.

Colorado at Toledo

No doubt about the fact that Colorado's first game was a huge disappointment. However, look for a much better showing tonight. Because after all, IT'S DIVISION ONE FOOTBALL!, and, IT'S THE BIG TWELVE!!! (I'm sure Coach Hawkins told a few of the guys to "go play intermurals brother" after last week) However, they face a MAC opponent tonight and I think they will win this game handily. I also expect Toledo to get on the board a little bit so I will also be playing the over 54. Colorado -3.5 and Over 54 for tonight.

Tennessee

Just a quick tidbit on why I like Tennessee. I locked this in a few days ago at 8.5, but for purposes of my record on this site I will use 9.5 because I'll take the line at whatever it is when I post the play, as that is only fair. Moving on to Tenn.

Tennessee lost this game last year at UCLA, so heading back home this year, revenge will be on their minds. They are under the new leadership of Lane Kiffin who I believe will be a successful coach for them. Tennessee's QB Crompton seems much improved as he threw for more TD's in one game than he did all of last season (granted against a weak opponent), and I think he'll be fine this week. Add to that the fact that UCLA's QB play is suspect and I believe we have a winner. Tenn -9.5

It took an act of God for Clemson to cover. Unfortunately the game sailed over. Off to a dismal start, but we will right the ship this weekend. Jump on Tennessee -9.5 before the line goes any higher. Will post more later.
