Tuesday Update

Tough one last night with a last-second meaningless touchdown sending it over the total. I feel the best option right now is to take a few days off so there will be no play tonight and the earliest I will even consider making a wager is Thursday. I apologize for the poor performance of late and look forward to turning it around when the college games roll around.

Wow. A 1-5-1 Sunday to follow up a great Saturday. Houston blows a 21 point lead and ends up at a push, Dolphins blow a huge lead and a late pick-6 gets the Saints the cover. In reality it should've been a 3-4 Sunday which is still not good by any means but beats the hell out of 1-5-1. But enough with the excuses. All I can say is I certainly am not going to sit here and take it up the you-know-what from Vegas! I am getting back on the winning train and it starts tonight.

Eagles/Redskins Under 38...Redskins have no offense and a decent defense, and with the home crowd on Monday Night, I expect them to keep this somewhat close, so I am going under 38.

O.K. so Oregon State is looking like a winner which will make it a 5-2 Saturday, with a very tough break on the Under in the OSU/Minny game. Very pleased overall. For tomorrow I have a big card that is chock full of dogs and I really like it.

Tough one with Army playing really sloppy football and a blocked punt ultimately costing us the cover, though we were fortunate enough to get the football on the goal line which kept it under. 1-1 and moving on to the Saturday games. Like the card today.

Friday Football

Not much trouble getting the over last night. I'm glad I laid off FSU even though I thought they would win because it was a much tougher game than expected. Tonight I will be on Army +10.5 and the Under 38.5. Army is much improved and Rutgers is down this year. I think both teams will run the ball and grind out a close, low-scoring game.

Thursday Football

Tough one last night with Tulsa's offense never really finding their groove. We all saw how quickly they can get down the field but they just did not do it enough last night. Either way, a gritty performance by UTEP and congrats to them. Moving on to tonight.

I saw a stat yesterday that UNC is something like 1-14 all time vs. FSU. This really doesn't surprise me at all, and I actually think UNC just might get kicked in the mouth tonight, but this FSU team is really down this year and UNC is a program that is on the up and up, so maybe it will be a close game. That said, I think there will be plenty of points tonight and I will be playing the Over 48.5. BOL everyone.

Well I will admit I think we were very fortunate as Chicago self-destructed but we will take a 3-0 day. On Monday Night I have locked in Denver Broncos +3.5. Really like them as I think they are for real and could definitely see them winning this game on the field.

Friday Football

A little bump in the road going 0-2 last night. As Jesse Palmer said after the game South Florida will watch the tape and say "we lost this game." They definitely could've won especially with Pike getting knocked out but Collaros is an athlete and competitor and props to him. As I said I have been impressed with Cincy, but even if Pike returns (and he probably will) Cincy is just not going to cut it when it comes to playing the toughest competition. They are just too one-dimensional. Granted they racked up 189 yards on the ground but 132 were from Collaros (most of them off his 80 yard TD run) and a few were from Gilyard. When all was said and done their running backs tallied 68 yards on the ground, and that is just not going to cut it when it comes to playing top competition. I thought this might be the year that SF didn't fold under the pressure when they really had a chance to prove themselves but I was wrong. All this talk of Cincy playing in the National Championship Game is an absolute joke as there are probably TEN or more teams that deserve to be there more than Cincy. Let's not forget this is Big East FOOTBALL, not Basketball. (And you can say all you want about the Big East being a "we'll hit you in the mouth conference" but I'm just not buying it. Anyway we will mark it down and be ready to unload on whichever team plays Cincy in the Bowl Game they make it to where the linesmakers will undoubtedly give them far too much respect. ...On to tonight.

Nice and simple I am on Pitt -6. Let's get back on the winning train and carry our momentum into the weekend.

Tough one last night as that game very well could've gone over if not for a very slow 3rd quarter. But that is the nature of this business. Just get on the right side as much as possible and whatever happens happens.

Friday NCAAF

Nice last second cover last night even though it should have sailed over if not for the many WVU turnovers.
Tonight I'll be on Louisville +6.5 and Utah State +23.5.
The 'ville is 1-2 but with losses to Kentucky and Utah. Plus it's always a hard-fought battle between these two teams.
Utah State lost this game last year by 20 and are supposedly much improved.

Thursday NCAAF

Nice easy cover last night as LA Tech ran all over Hawaii. Tonight I will be on the Over 55. Colorado has been pretty bad this year and they are terrible on the road, so I expect WVU to put up a bunch of points tonight. However I'm sure their offense will turn it over a few times which might lead to some points. Also, if and when Colorado moves the ball, it will be more through the air than on the ground which should keep the clock stopped enough for this one to sail over. Colorado/WVU Over 55 for tonight.
