Update

Tough loss on Notre Dame. The football season has been pretty decent but we are winding down now with only a few games left. I'll be back with at least one play for Sunday and of course back for the Superbowl. I've only bet three of 'em in my life; Steelers over the Seahawks, G-Men over the Pats, and Cards over the Steelers (+6.5). All winners so far, let's keep the streak alive.

Monday Action

Nice hit on the Jets game and nice win for the Jets. I'll be on Notre Dame +3.5 tonight. Best of luck everyone.

Sunday Football

Not a good day yesterday going 1-2. I'm on the Under 42.5 in the Jets Chargers game. I think the Jets will rely on the run game heavily as usual and I don't see them scoring much on the Chargers defense so they will have to manage the game and rely on their defense as they generally do.

Jets/Chargers Under 42.5

Saturday Football

Today I'll be on:

Arizona +7- Gotta go with Warner here, as the Saints did not exactly close out the season strongly, and he three weapons in Fitzy, Doucet, and Breaston. Also, the addition of Beanie Wells has really been big for this team giving them more balance on offense. I think they learn from last week's defensive mistakes and shore up the D today.

Baltimore +6.5- I think the Baltimore running game and defense will be enough to keep this one close.

Baltimore/Indy Under 44- Their meeting during the season was 17-15 and I expect a very similar result in this one.

Sunday Football

Nice day yesterday going 2-1, losing the Under on the Jets game by a pretty narrow margin. It was a pretty defensive game, but just a few too many big plays and touchdowns rather than field goals. But it was a low total, I took a shot at it and I don't regret the play. On to today I feel good about the picks. Probably like Green Bay a little more but playing them the same.

Saturday Football

OK folks, here's what I'm rolling with for the weekend. Playoffs are tough but let's see what we can do.

Jets +3 I know the Bengals get some players back this week and this game is in Cincy but the New York Jets dominated both lines of scrimmage last week and I think they do the same today. Granted this is Sanchez's first playoff game but the Jets game plan will be heavily favoring the run. Also, I think the Jets defense is for real, and the Bengals have really struggled to put up points. I don't think the Jets will have anywhere near as easy a time today, as Cincy will probably be expecting run a lot and loading the box but I think I have to roll with the better team and that is the J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS.

Jets/Bengals Under 34.5 Like I said it won't be as easy for the Jets to score this week, and Bengals O/Jets D matchup definitely favors the Jets in my opinion.

Dallas -3.5 Very tough to win two divisional games in one year, and Dallas won the last one, a very meaningful game too, very convincingly. This game is in Dallas again so I don't think we should expect things to change too much. If you stick to the running and defense motto for the playoffs I think you have to roll with the Boys in this one.

Tomorrow's Games:

Baltimore +3.5 Again going with running and defense. Granted Flacco vs. Brady is not a great matchup for us but Ray Rice has really been impressive this season and I'll take Ray Lewis and Ed Reed on my team in the playoffs any time. Patriots might win it but probably not by more than a field goal.

Green Bay -1 This line has come all the way across 0 from +3 to -1. Green Bay has an excellent defense and Aaron Rodgers I believe has proven he is a more than capable QB. Arizona played a very weak schedule and I think Green Bay is coming together as a team much better than the Arizona Cardinals. Kurt Warner is a wily veteran and I hate to bet against him but I think the Packers defense gets it done in this one.
